§ 02 — About Holon Phantoms

A look inside the set.

Holon Phantoms presents a tightly structured 111-card collection with a clear emphasis on Pokémon illustration, complemented by a modest selection of Trainers and Energy. The set’s rarity profile spans commons and uncommons into a substantial holo layer, with a small number of EX and Star rarities that punctuate the checklist. Across the set, the dominant look is colorful and cartoonish, with playful energy and a preference for simple, focused framing.

Among the visual highlights, Blaziken{ex13-20} and Deoxys δ{ex13-3} stand out for their high-impact presentation within the set’s bright palette and direct compositions. Mitsuhiro Arita and Masakazu Fukuda contribute heavily to the overall texture of the release, balancing energetic character moments with clear silhouettes and readable action. The result is a collection that stays visually accessible while still offering occasional shifts into more mysterious moods and stronger contrast.

I · Visual identity

Vibrant color dominates, often paired with contrasting accents that keep characters separated cleanly from their backgrounds. The prevailing mood is playful and energetic, and the compositions tend toward simple, focused, and balanced layouts—frequently centering the subject for immediate readability, with occasional dynamic angles to add motion.

II · Illustrators

Mitsuhiro Arita and Masakazu Fukuda are the most represented illustrators in Holon Phantoms, shaping much of its consistent, character-forward look. Kagemaru Himeno and Midori Harada also appear frequently, reinforcing the set’s light, colorful tone through approachable linework and clear staging.
